Dr. Evert Jiménez is a board-certified plastic surgeon, graduated from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, where he was recognized as Best Researcher of his class — an achievement that reflects the academic rigor and discipline that have defined his career from the start.
He completed his plastic surgery residency at Universidad de Antioquia, one of the most prestigious institutions in Latin America and a pioneer in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. Four years of intensive training where he refined his surgical skills and consolidated the values behind his practice: ethics, empathy and individualized care.
His passion for hair restoration grew naturally — family and close friends began seeking him out for the procedure, and Dr. Jiménez found a field with real impact: helping men and women recover not just their hair, but their style and confidence.
Today, Dr. Evert Hair Institute operates from Medellín, a city that has become a reference point for medical tourism across Latin America, the United States and Canada — always at the forefront of the highest clinical standards.

In the operating room, Dr. Jiménez works alongside surgical technicians and hair designers with more than 15 years of experience, brought directly from Turkey — the world epicenter of hair transplantation. The process starts long before surgery. Our trichology team — physicians specialized in scalp and follicle diagnosis — evaluates every patient in depth: density, donor area, type of alopecia, hair quality. Without a precise diagnosis, there is no real treatment plan.
