FUE Hair Transplant

Flagship procedure

FUE Hair Transplant in Medellín, Colombia

Follicle-by-follicle precision, performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon and his international team.

What is FUE?

Follicular Unit Extraction is today’s standard in hair transplantation: each follicular unit is extracted individually from the donor area (the back and sides of your head, genetically resistant to hair loss) and implanted one by one in the areas you want to recover. No scalpel strips, no visible linear scars, and a faster recovery.

The natural look of the result is decided in three places: the hairline design, the angle of each incision, and the distribution of densities. That is why at Dr. Evert Hair Institute the same team — surgeon, technicians and hair designers with more than 15 years of international experience — plans and executes your procedure from start to finish.

How it works

Design and planning

Hairline design in front of the mirror, with you. Trichoscopic analysis and donor area measurement define the real number of grafts.

Extraction

Under local anesthesia, follicular units are extracted one by one with micro-punches under magnification.

Implantation

Each graft is implanted controlling angle, direction and density — the three variables that make a result undetectable.

Recovery and follow-up

You go home the same day with your care kit and first-wash instructions, plus 12 months of WhatsApp follow-up with photo check-ins.

Are you a candidate?

  • Established hair loss with a stable donor area
  • Receding hairline, crown thinning or both
  • Looking for more overall hair volume
  • Realistic expectations — the consultation defines what is achievable

If your loss is very recent or diffuse, surgery may not be the first step: stabilizing treatment comes first. The trichoscopic analysis, included in your consultation, settles it.

With a personalized consultation and digital trichoscopic analysis, you will know precisely the real condition of your hair and the best options for your case. An honest diagnosis, there to guide you from the very first moment.
